    CFUM

    CFUM was founded in 1994 and recognized by the FCT in 2003, as a research unit with a multi-disciplinary scientific profile, encompassing both theoretical research and modelling and experimental research and development activities. CFUM is strongly involved in interdisciplinary R&D activities and the team includes Physicists, Materials Scientists, Mathematicians, and specialists in Optics (including that of human eye) and Optometry.

    CFP is a relatively small research centre based at the Department of Physics of the School of Sciences of Porto University. It is fully devoted to research in theoretical physics, in the broad area of Quantum Physics and Fields in High Energy and Condensed Matter, exploring synergies between theorists of different fields. It was founded in 1994 and recognised by the FCT in 1997.

Anabela Gomes Rolo formou-se em Ensino da Física pela Universidade de Lisboa em 2003 e obteve o grau de doutor em Ciências (área Física) pela Universidade do Minho. É professora de Física no Departamento de Física da Universidade do Minho, é membro do Centro de Física da Universidade do Minho (CFUM) e faz investigação no âmbito da linha de investigação: “Nanostruturas plasmónicas, luminescentes, magnéticas e híbridas para aplicações biomédicas, ambientais e em optoelectrónica”.

Anabela Gomes Rolo graduated in Physics (Education branch) from University of Lisbon and in 2013 obtained the PhD in Science (Physics branch) from University of Minho (2003). She teaches courses in Physics at Department of Physics of the University of Minho, is member of Center of Physics of the University of Minho (CFUM) and does research is in the frame of the Strategic Research Line: “Plasmonic, luminescent, magnetic and hybrid nanostructures for optoelectronic, biomedical and environmental applications”
